Caving

Caving means staying at home as much as you can. If you say you're caving for the weekend, that means you're not going to leave the house that weekend. Caving families are families that prefer being at home all the time. Caving comes from the word "cave," as in naturally formed hole or tunnel in the rock. Another word for this is cocooning.
