A rolling stone gathers no moss

Moss is a type of small plant that grows on stones, particularly in places that are wet. In this proverb, the stone represents life, and the moss represents success, particularly money. Obviously, plants cannot grow on a stone that is always moving, and so this proverb says that people who are always changing jobs or moving to different places or moving from hobby to hobby without staying for very long at each one ? these people will never be successful or wealthy.
