Metrosexual

A metrosexual is a man who lives in a city, shows a lot of interest in his appearance and his lifestyle, and is not gay. The "metro-" indicates a sophisticated city life. The "-sexual" comes from "homosexual" and is used because this interest in appearance (i.e. cosmetics, fashion, etc.) is usually associated with certain gay men. Famous metrosexual: David Beckham
