Male answer syndrome |
listen!
|
Male answer syndrome (MAS) refers to the habit of many men to answer questions even if they do not know the answers. They do not like to say, "I don't know," maybe because it hurts their pride. Instead, if they do not know the answer to the question, these men will either guess, lie or give a completely irrelevant answer instead. This is a habit that many women find very annoying after a while. Apparently, it is more common in American men.
