Teensploitation

Teensploitation or teensploitation movies are films that are produced for teenagers. They do not cost much to make, they do not have to be very good, because as long as they show teenage life and the sort of activities that teenagers are interested in (dating, prom night, parents who don't understand, etc.), teenagers will pay money to come and see them, and the film will make money. Teensploitation is a combination of the word "exploitation" and "teenager." There are also the words "blaxploitation" — film that exploit African American culture — and "cruxploitation" — films that exploit religion.
