朝、起きる

KEVIN : Dear Diary, this morning I woke up at 8:00. I should have got up at 7:00.
● 起きる。
Wake up.

KEVIN : I overslept this morning. I don't usually oversleep, but this morning, I overslept.
● 寝坊した。

KEVIN : So, in a hurry, I went to the bathroom.
● 洗面所に行く。

● シャワーを浴びる。

● 歯を磨く。

KEVIN : Then I remembered that I hadn't washed my face. Usually I wash my face before I clean my teeth.
● 顔を洗う。

KEVIN : After that, as I combed my hair, I realized that I had also forgotten to do something else.
● 髪をとかす。
Comb my hair.
Brush my hair.
KEVIN : I had forgotten to shave.
● ひげをそる。
Shave.
KEVIN : So I shaved. And then I dressed quickly.
● 服を着る。
Dress.
KEVIN : I got the paper as I was leaving.
● 新聞を取ってくる、または買ってくる。

KEVIN : I looked at the paper and I suddenly realized my company was on holiday today. I didn't have to go to work today. So I sat down to have breakfast.
● 朝ご飯を食べる。
Have breakfast.
KEVIN : By this time, my wife had woken up. She was brushing her hair and getting ready to put on her makeup.
● 化粧をする。
Put on my makeup.
Do my makeup.
KEVIN : As she did her makeup, I made some coffee for her.
● コーヒーを入れる。
Make coffee.
