REIKO : Those? They're omikuji.
KEVIN : Omikuji?
REIKO : It's like fortune-telling. The pieces of paper tell you whether you're going to be lucky this year or not. Let's have a go.
Draw a stick from a container.
On it, you will find a number.
The piece of paper will tell if you are lucky.
Or unlucky.
REIKO : Let me look at yours, Kevin. Oh, you're unlucky.
KEVIN : Really?
REIKO : Never mind, unlucky fortunes can be tied to trees at the shrine, and you may turn out to be lucky after all.
