Michael: Morning. How was your summer vacation?
Mizuho: Not bad, not bad at all thanks. I had a great time. A whole week of great scenery and meeting all my friends in Yamanashi. I hadn't seen them for over 10 years.
Michael: Wow, I guess you had a lot of catching up to do.
Mizuho: Sure did. I was shocked to find out that some of them were married and had kids. It made me feel old. I felt even older climbing up Mount Fuji .. but it was worth it to see the sunrise. It was incredible. You should do it on your next holiday. Speaking of which, didn't you take a vacation too? I remember you talking about going scuba diving.
Michael: Uh, yeah. Went to Okinawa for a week.
Mizuho: Oh, cool. How was it?
Michael: Well, on the very day we arrived we got hit by a typhoon and were trapped in our hotel for most of the week.
Mizuho: Oh no. That's awful ...So...no diving?
Michael: No diving, no nothing. Thing is, I was so busy scrambling around trying to find out whether my plane back home was gonna fly out or not, I didn't have time to even be upset about it. The only good thing was that right before we left I was able to go snorkeling for a few hours. And I even made it back to work in time. Great vacation, huh?
Mizuho: I guess you haven't got any photos?
Michael: What? Of torrential rainfall?! ...How about you?
Mizuho: Oh yeah, loads. There was a fireworks display on my final day there so I took pictures of those too. Want to see them?
Michael: Sure... hey, these are really nice! You should enter some of these in a photo contest.
Mizuho: Really? Oh, that's nice of you. Hmm... If I do I'll name it something like "Summer Memories."
Michael: ...I don't need to remember my summer...
